Apple’s iPad Air and iPad mini lineup could get major display upgrades soon, according to a report from Bloomberg.

The company is also working on improving the display on the MacBook Air, reports Telegraph. The report claims that the Cupertino giant is testing new iPad Air, iPad mini and MacBook Air models with OLED displays.

According to the report, Apple plans to introduce an iPad mini with an OLED panel in 2026. While an OLED display would be a welcome upgrade for the iPad mini, it is expected to come with a higher price tag. The OLED version could cost up to $100 more than the current model.

Apple is also developing a redesigned frame for the iPad mini, with water resistance and an improved speaker system.

The iPad Air is also expected to use OLED technology in the coming years, although the next version will reportedly continue to use an LCD panel for now.

As for the MacBook Air, Apple is said to be developing an OLED version, but the upgrade isn’t expected anytime soon, with a launch timeline set for possibly 2028.
