Hollywood producer David Pearce has been convicted of rape and murder with a sentence that runs until 2171.
The 42-year-old was found guilty of murdering two women and raping seven others, with his sentence of 146 years in prison handed down on October 29.
He was convicted in the deaths of 24-year-old model and aspiring actress Christy Giles and 26-year-old Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, who were murdered on November 13, 2021. Both women died of fatal drug overdoses.
According to reports, Pearce gave the women drugs, including fentanyl and the date-rape drug GHB, at his Beverly Hills home after they met at a party.

Their bodies were left outside Los Angeles hospitals by masked men. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office described how the events unfolded that night. Pearce dropped the victims off at two different local hospitals, with Giles arriving dead at the hospital.
Pearce committed multiple drug-facilitated sexual assaults against multiple women spanning from 2005 to 2021, as revealed in court.
The crimes included three counts of rape by force, two counts of sexual assault by force, and one count each of rape of an unconscious person and sodomy by force.
All seven victims testified at trial about Pearce’s ‘sexual promiscuity and violent tendencies,’ the report from the Attorney General’s office said.
Pearce was found guilty of the crimes in February and was convicted of several other sex offenses.
Judge Eleanor Hunter ordered a maximum of 25 years to life in prison for each murder, with additional sentences for rape.
